Animation Film Festival Klõps!2013 took place in Tartu, on October 4th–6th 2013. The international festival screened animations by professional animation film makers as well as amateurs, introducing authors from Estonia, The Netherlands, other European countries, and Argentina.
The festival programme consisted of animation film screenings curated by Piret Karro and guest curator Luuk van Huët from Amsterdam; workshops by animator Peeter Ritso from Tallinn, comic publication Kuš! authors David Schilter, Sanita Muizniece and Mārtiņš Zutis from Riga, and Luuk van Huët. With the festival, an open call was launched for young animation film makers on the topic of intercultural communication, to compile a film session for young authors to voice their opinion on the multilayered intercultural reality they live in.
The Animation Film Festival Klõps!2013 is supported by Estonian National Agency for Youth in Action Programme, Archimedes Foundation.
